STAR HARMONY (& friends!) QUARTET PARADE and SHOW

WHAT IS IT?

• Fun and casual evening of sharing quartet singing!
• A homemade and (very) unofficial, relaxed contest!
• An opportunity to work on performance and musical skills with friends!

THE RULES

• Acapella quartets or VLQ’s only - singers, no instruments
  • One song per group with a second song possible depending on the number of quartets and available time.
  • Songs do NOT have to be BHS contestable!
• At least two singers from each quartet must be a member of Star Harmony, Boise Chordsmen and/or BHS.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• 6:15pm - show up to the Fellowship Hall for a briefing and walk-through.
• Performances start at 7pm!
  • Performance in front of audience of friends and family, participants, and panel of judges.
• Friends and Family are invited.
  • $5 donation at the door.
• Judges are 7th place District champs, Sound Byte
  • Judges please arrive at 6:30 for briefing
• Brief awards ceremony at the end of the night to share results.

HOW TO SIGN UP

• Signups OPEN on May 1 - they CLOSE on May 31!
• ONE member from each quartet - email Kaylyn Hyman and include:
  • Your quartet name
  • Your singers' names and parts
  • Your song title(s), and
  • If you are a novice quartet (each quartet decides for themselves if they are “novice” - Rich can help if you’re not sure!)
• Someone will reach out to all contacts with a schedule and order of appearance by June 7th.
